Integrated process digitalisation at a rubber and plastics manufacturer

An Italian manufacturing company producing plastic packaging and containers for the industrial, food and healthcare sectors. The company has over 100 employees, runs complex production processes and operates an integrated automated warehouse.

The company was using a central management system alongside applications developed in-house, custom interfaces and a large number of spreadsheets.

As volumes and organisational complexity grew, keeping data aligned across production, logistics, quality, administration and sales became increasingly difficult.

The objective was to introduce a modern, web-based and integrable ERP platform capable of centralising information and supporting the entire business process in a coordinated way.

• Fragmented systems and information Data and procedures were spread across the management system, in-house applications and spreadsheets, requiring manual extraction and reconciliation.
• Complex production planning Scheduling had to account for presses, moulds, compounds, colours, available components, alternative cycles, maintenance and delivery dates.
